As I have said before, it just irritates the shit out of Republicans how popular ex-presidents Obama and Clinton remain with the American public.

Hell, even most Democrats believe that W is a decent guy, even if they disagreed with his politics; that much was obvious when HW died. But you'll never see Fucko's nutcase base extend the same respect and courtesy to either Obama or Clinton.

 

Democrats are astute about giving ground to Republicans who no longer have any skin in the game, be it former presidents or primary washouts (McCain 2000, Kasich 2016).

Provides equity to the "See, we're better than them" facade.

Republicans are unbending cruel --- albeit consistent --- toward Dems from candidacy to grave.

 

The cuckoo whack jobs who support trump are as inhumane and nasty as he is. They have no capacity to care about anyone but themselves and more so, they enjoy hurting others.
