    Never buy on the dips. Never sell on the bumps. Never ever invest because of your politics no matter what they are. This is all Money 101 stuff. If your investment can't take six months of market moves, don't make it. My thought has always been that they're called securities for a reason. If they don't make you feel that way, find some that do.
