Stock market still not scoreboard for presidencies

 

Trump was forced to go because of the bone spurs story, pure and simple. If the government wasn't shut down, and he was at his golf resort, no way this happens. He was probably told by some handlers, "If you go, you can go play golf."

I bet he awards himself a combat action ribbon and Leader Star First Class when he gets back to DC.

 

Thee stock market is a scoreboard for itself, period. PS: There has never been a bull market without some real bad down days nor a bear market without some real large rallies.

The numbers going up and down are going to happen. It's the level of insecurity that is driving those, though, and Trump is all about chaos and the lack of norms and stability.

I don't even know what picked market bottom means, troll boy. When I posted, the market was down for the day. It goes up and down most days. Whooptee damn Doo. You are a weird fucking individual.

Not sure what anyone was supposed to do since the Father exercised his parental authority.

 

I understand why the Russians take the actions they do in Ukraine. Among other reasons the Russians are very concerned about the treatment of ethnic Russians who were trapped outside the borders when the Soviet Union collapsed. I have heard Russians get very emotional about the mistreatment of ethnic Russians...in the Baltics. So the Ukraine is a huge concern given the number of ethnic Russians there and the unstable nature of the Ukraine. But what the hell are they doing in Syria?

I had Russians tell me that they had the best educational system in the world (not true). But they have pretty good one? Where is Russian high tech?

But when I was there (which was several years ago) the average Russian had miserable housing, a poor health system and lived a spartan life. But I don't think that has changed much. McCain was cruel but correct when he said Russia is a gas station. Their economy depends on the price of oil and natural gas.

And as long as Putin is in charge and running an oligarchy I don't think it will change.
