Georgia will be a blue state soon enough. Major demographic changes over 20 years, voters coming of age, etc.

One reason the Rust Belt states are back up for grabs is because so many black voters have returned to the south, leaving Chicago, Detroit, etc.

 

Time and again voters have shown that they *want* someone with minimal Washington experience and entanglements to go in and wreck it. The people who support her are not hoping she will quietly play ball until given a nice committee spot in a few years.

The status quo does not work for the majority of Americans and they do not want it continued.

This whole border wall thing is based on the bogus presumption that there is a crisis of unauthorized people coming to these shores and causing mayhem. The inconvenient truth for racism-fueled Trumpists is that immigration has been declining for a decade. It is not a crisis.

 

There are more people leaving that way than coming. The border wall will increase the number of them living in the US.

It’s a dominance fetish. Suggest something monumentally stupid and wasteful, get told it’s stupid and wasteful, do it anyway. Wasting government money to own the libs.
