    It is.

But not when it's framed as part of your obsessive concern over the "cools" and the "rubes."

The rubes are entitled to whatever free education they can rouse themselves to pursue - as they always have been.

As to the cool foreign playboys, with their private jets and tight pants and premarital petting, some minimum term of local residency is usually a requirement for a free state education.

As it is in my state, where we already have same.

Michelle Obama versus Trump would bring about an actual race war.

Look, I'm not trying to be difficult. In the recent Jimmy Fallon interview she gave, she described her feelings on the final day in the White House as "Bye, Felicia." I don't think she was all that fond of the experience or, not that fond of how she experienced it. Maybe it'd be different as president.

So, how is a nation that elected Barack Obama, and would elect Michelle, but won’t elect Harris or Booker seen as racist?

Even if this withdrawal from Syria is a result of that promise, which is far from a sure thing, he spreads enough bullshit that he has to accidentally tell the truth once in a while. If he does, how are you supposed to spot a fleeting truth among the shotgun of his other lies that day?

    1. I'm not the one referencing Harris or Booker (neither of whom will be elected, but not due to the color of their skin).
    2. Only old white guys and the women who fake-pretend that they love them think that America's not racist.

PS. I'll give you an internet dollar if you can name the legendary singer shown here, and from what beloved completely (wink wink) non-racist movie?

That education hasn't always been free though, has it?

And it's not a concern I personally have. I can - and do! - pass for pretentious. It's an observation of our times. Cultural currency always matters, and, as it stands, a certain cultural currency matters right now.

There’s one person who we can all agree would beat Trump in 2020. She’s a black woman.

But we’re a totally racist nation.

I guess some of the racists just like Barack and Michelle Obama.

The man repeatedly told an easily provable lie about pay raises to the military solely to make him look like a hero as compared to other presidents.

I’d like to see someone defend that.

I think that Trump has pulled back the covers on racism in America. It is very ugly, and it is much more pervasive than I had believed.

    It cuts across the parties.

Didn't all the troops in attendance scratch their heads and go, "wait, what? I've gotten more money every year...but I didn't get a 10 percent raise he just mentioned!"

Trump has accounted for some of it, but the idea of systemic racism across many arenas predates Trump's presidential run.

I'd argue it's social media and the Internet. 15 years ago, would I know about every cop shooting incident I'd ever care to know about? No. Incidents of racism comes to our virtual front door every day. We can access it whenever we want.
