I’m surprised that you’re working in LA at all given the boycott you announced.

But, I guess your principles are flexible.

It was an honest question. You suggested Melania was in the country and/or working in the country illegally.

As a foreigner working here, in the creative arts, I imagine you have some knowledge of how the system works. Was just curious what kind of visa you were working on, how you qualified for it, and who sponsored you, if it required a sponsor.

With immigration being such a hot button topic, it would be nice to have an expert walk us through the process of working here legally.

I think people had more of an issue with her husband being president. I thought she would have made a great first lady, though preferably with her first husband, Senator John Heinz, as president. And yes, I did just say I thought more highly of a Republican who might have run for president than a Democrat who did run and lost. For those who don't remember, Heinz was killed in a mid-air collision between a helicopter and the airplane in which he was a passenger in 1991.

Teresa Heinz speaks five languages and has an impressive record of her own as a philanthropist. She also has a history of speaking her mind, which I always liked.

I couldn’t care less about any First Lady. I do, however, find it somewhat maddening that my right wing friends couldn’t stop talking about the fact that Michelle Obama didn’t deserve to get into Princeton and that she wrote some anti-American screed as her thesis. Yet they ignore the fact that Melania Trump (whose husband ran on an anti-illegal immigration platform) almost certainly performed prohibited paying work while in the US on a tourist visa.

Again: You will never get anywhere pointing out their hypocrisy. They *know* they're hypocrites. Their philosophy is "everyone is a hypocrite, it's all a power-grab underneath, and we have power so what are you gonna do about it?"

She misquoted when she wrote that she graduated from college!

Just like Ivana was an Olympic skier or Trump got an MBA from Wharton.

Melania's undergraduate thesis was written by Michelle Obama.

That's pretty accurate. That's what most Trump supporters think: Everybody's the devil.

If it comes out that he did go to Prague, using a second passport or something, or that he had pretty much the meeting described but did it elsewhere, we'll hear about it. The story will break and be covered by a source I think is credible and I'll pay better attention.

It's like I keep saying... wait and see what comes out as witnesses are interviewed and sealed indictments opened. In the near future we'll start hearing about the various people who told the FBI one thing and said something completely different while under oath in front of the Congress, for instance. Sure, I post the daily links - but some are conjecture and speculation about conclusions, and some are hard info, and you and I both know that more of that is yet to come.
