She is a woman and her only achievement is her marriage. She’s judged by what she is, a fashion accessory for a cesspool of a male. She’s vilified by her actions. She’s nothing without her assignation with trump. She’s judged by her own actions. She used her vagina to get what her work ethic and intellect could not. She traded on what she believes were her assets for the life she wanted. She’s been weighed and measured and found lacking in humanity. And she doesn’t care.

That sounds an awful lot like the uber-wealthy rationalizing their tax cuts because if these poor people just pulled themselves up by their bootstraps and worked a little harder, they could be wealthy too.

If I may have a guess, I'm going to say that it's a sarcastic way of arguing that in a post-Trump world, good manners is for losers that wish they could win like Trump.

I'm a sporadic participant on both boards. I find myself more politically aligned with the folks here, but the discussion is often better over there.

I have no ax to grind with anyone (don't really post enough to cultivate such animosity). I typically enjoy the recurring debates among posters, and they can be especially entertaining when they get a little chippy. But even in my limited involvement, I feel a kinship with posters to the point that it bugs me when anybody gets overly personal. By no means do I judge the situation. I have a temper, I get it. I think it's fair to say that you've been on both ends of posts that are maybe a little too shitty. And it's not right when you're on the receiving end.

Obviously, it's fair to say that some of the "Misfit Toys" have some issues with you. But, in my opinion, the overlapping discussion has more to do with a collective desire that everyone could post together with a little more autonomy than it does with creating a He-Man Typefitter Haters Club.

Thanks for a reasonable and open-hearted post. I honestly don't much care anymore what anyone says about me, so long as it's not outing. I know that I deserve some of it, and I still like the fight as much as anybody. As far as I know—and I stand to be corrected—all but a couple of people can post here, together, with a pretty long leash. The people who can't deserve to have been banned. Not everyone will believe that, but they don't have all the facts. The people who have voluntarily left out of whatever sense of protest, that's their choice. They've made the wrong choice, in my opinion, but it's their choice. It also means that I'm going to make fun of them for being stroppy bitches. Like, what a bunch of petulant muffin men.
