Amazing. Two no-hitters, six seasons (some of them very limited in innings) with ERA of ≥ 5.50.
Last year, he went 1-14 -- one of the 10 worst winning percentages in history for a pitcher with ≥ 15 decisions.

Machado and Harper upon hearing that Chicago wanted to visit with them.
    "Sweet! On the next flight!"

Honestly, never heard of him. Also - in addition to the mediocre stat line - I'd never give that kind of bread to a pitcher named Homer. a golfer named Shank, a Quarterback named Pick or a hooper named Brick.

Solves a bit of a logjam in the Rangers infield. With Beltre retired and Profar traded, they can move Gallo back to third base.

Are Dodger fans a little nervous about Friedman jumping the gun? If I'm Philly, I'm on the phone with Boras. 6-240. Opt after 4. One time deal.

It's a net cost of $7 million to the Reds. Homer costs $28 million with the buyout plus $7 million in cash to the Reds. Puig, Wood, and Kemp are around $42 million.

    Thread.

I pretty much agree with Craig on this one.

Passan wasting no time getting going at ESPN.

Yanks bring in Tulo to play short (assuming he can actually get on the field) while Didi recovers. Does not take them out of the Manny Machado sweepstakes.

That takes care of the first couple of weeks of Gregorius's recovery. What are they going to do while Tulowitzki is on the DL?

Tulo is quickly becoming the Fred "Glass Groin" Taylor of MLB.

Someone more clever than I needs to re-write the lyrics to The Beatles’ “Glass Onion” to be about Tulo’s “Glass Groin.”
