I just finished Robert F. Kennedy's book on the Cuban Missile Crisis, Thirteen Days, and it is chilling to think of Trump in that situation.

"We gotta build a wall around Cuba. That'll keep dose missiles outta here"
    or
"Castro just wrote me a beautiful letter. He took the island and boy was he rough. But he had to take it."

Don't follow your logic at all. Also, if you don't want to hear pundits talk about it, vote with your remote.

Remind me again why all Republicans are not automatically disqualified from saying anything at all about government spending or economics in general?

    Pelosi 219, McCarthy 192, Others 18, Present 3.

That was actually pretty tight considering it wasn't a simple plurality vote.

I’m sure they knew the numbers and allowed people to cast the vote they needed to cast for future cover. Likely just tight on paper.

This isn’t the Senate passing a CR 100-0 to keep the government open before and having Trump get scared of Ann Coulter.

That's 432. I know NC-9 hasn't been resolved because the Trumpist, a preacher who thinks women belong in the kitchen and nowhere else, has apparently been caught cheating. Where are the other two empty seats? Anybody know?

Great to have you back, Speaker Pelosi.

I look forward to getting more shares over the next two years per dollar I pump in my 401k. Let’s make it January 2009 all over again.

    So.

    This seems to be backfiring.

It doesn't help that Apple no longer has the wireless companies subsidizing cell phones. People paying the full cost of a phone are far less likely to buy a new one until it really becomes necessary. They aren't going to do it for marginally increased performance (also worth noting is that a lot of the upgrades that get announced with a new iPhone are iOS based and available on older models with a software update).

I used to upgrade every two years because it was usually worth $200 for the increased performance and capabilities of the next gen phone. Now that I have to pay the full freight, I'll be holding onto my current iPhone X for at least five years unless Apple somehow blows us away with a major upgrade.
