This may be an awesome strategy. The Dems are keeping trump in self imposed imprisonment in the White House. He hates the place and insulted it when he got there. The ‘wife’ and ‘son’ don’t seem to be nearby. He’s going crazier and crazier. The Dems have put him in a position to work which he hates, he’s lazy and a sloth. They’ve got him spewing endless irrational and disjointed tweets. If only the media would ignore his tweets. And on,y rely on official pronouncements.

Trump claimed on Friday that Clinton, Bush, and Obama have all told him they support a border wall. Dang if facts don't get in the way of a good story.

Asked if Clinton told Trump that he should have built a border wall, Clinton spokesman Angel Ureña said, “He did not. In fact, they’ve not talked since the inauguration.”

Bush spokesman Freddy Ford also said the two men had not discussed the matter. And Obama, for his part, has not spoken with Trump since his inauguration, except for a brief exchange at George H.W. Bush’s funeral in Washington, D.C.

Won't hold my breath waiting for someone to ask about this contradiction during the next useless White House press briefing.

That's what kills me about most of his lies. Reporters need to challenge him on his BS and do it immediately and harshly.

And smartly. They need to do it in a cross-examination kind of way (as much as possible, given the limitations). With one reporter following up on an evasive answer instead of asking about something unrelated.

Takes a little, uh, collusion among reporters. Which is why it never happens.

Lying about what three former presidents told you seems like a pretty egregious lie. I mean, that's more than lying, somehow. That's a total detachment from the truth to the point that it signals some kind of mental disorder.

It would help if the three former presidents would release statements saying, "that's a lie," to blow away any "he misspoke/ may have been mistaken/ misunderstood" denials or excuses.

No no no, none of that bullshit. IT'S A LIE.

Of course, they all contributed to it, by appearing publicly with the pig at the GHWB funeral, further normalizing him.

In the rare occasions when he does talk to the media (outside of Faux News), there's just so many lies it must be near impossible to challenge him in real time. That is, if you can get a question in edgewise.
