Will the dominoes fall like they did with the broadcast networks on the speech?

I hope it is Pelosi. Schumer needs to wait and see which way the wind blows.

Dems definitely must get equal time to clean up what will be Trump’s ridiculous lie-fest.

“The Wall” is such an idiotic notion. It’s never, ever going to happen. Everyone knows this. Logistics, finances and political will ensure it will never be built. Besides that, it’s an incredibly stupid fucking idea. Oh, and the promise included Mexico would pay for it. Not the American tax payer.

This is all a play to the base for 2020. And a stupid one at that. Trump had base-plus in 2016, and got in on a perfect storm and the slimmest of margins. Not going to happen again.

Two months ago, the voters spoke in a historic midterm landslide with turnout bigger than it’s ever been in an off-year election.

It might take awhile, with Mitch Fucking McConnell at the wheel of the Senate, but the will of the people is going to prevail.

He’s a minority president without a mandate with a loyal core of intellectual midgets for whom facts logic and rational thought are irrelevant. His administration is staffed by the worst people of the lowest moral and intellectual quality.

I would love to see the quality of writing if the competition exists and if it is limited to Trumpists. The record for run-on sentences will be set by the third paragraph of the first submission.

    Have Obama do it.

They don't want to have any of the 2020 contenders do it and anoint them the primary front-runner.

At this point he’s not even trying to win re-election. He’s just trying to keep 20 Republicans in the Senate from flipping if and when he’s impeached.

Whoever does it - the Dems need to realize they are trying to reach Trump voters. Talking about how "we're all immigrants" doesn't do it. Talk about money, talk about the furloughed workers, talk about the farmers and the businesses being hurt. Also say, that this President, unfortunately can't be trusted when it comes to giving factual information.

He should be impeached because he is dishonest, an idiot and a disgrace to the office. But the thing I took from that article is an example of how our Federal government is often a hindrance to people's business and lives. It is ridiculous that you need a bureaucracy to sign off on your label before you can sell a bottle of beer. Even when that bureaucracy is up and running because the government isn't shut down, it adds costs that are borne by all of us, and it limits consumer choices. But it justifies a bunch of made-up jobs and the campaign donations an industry group paid to some politicians to create barriers to entry in the craft beer segment that could compete with the bigger players.
