The intro music of the Dem response to Trump's lie-a-palooza should be:

The death angle isn't that concerning. The level of trash and overflowing toilets is a much bigger problem. How much damage is being done public land?

So, the subhead was just misleading hysteria, but we should take the rest of the article super seriously?

While there is no categorical account of damages yet (since there’s no one to collect that data right now), the former director of the National Park Service Jon Jarvis detailed some likely issues to me over the phone. Overflowing sewage and indiscriminate human pooping could pollute fresh water sources for years.

    It's all speculative.

BTW, where do the bears shit in the park?

Until some fine reporter shows what the call in rate was last year compared to this year either narrative is just a hypothesis. And as everyone who has flown more the. Twice in the last 17 years can attest, those TSA workers are rent-a-cops. Barely above Walmart greeter. Finding obvious illicit guns from randomly stupid people

First, look at Justin's response to this question.

Second, yes, the volume of lies does matter. If I tell one lie while you tell 30, what you did is worse. It's one of the concepts that Trump supporters like you either don't understand or fail to acknowledge.

What about the degree or subject matter/seriousness of the lie?

I'd think a hundred little lies, on trivial things, wouldn't be nearly as consequential as one big lie on a critical subject.

    Do you disagree?

I agree that President Trump's high volume of lies and that his lies are often about critical subjects make what he does worse.

JFC, the board is now at the point where people are evaluating the number and consequence of the lies.

Now do the President of Turkey, who was just given space on the Times' op-ed page.
