I’ve been binge-watching Cheers on Netflix. There’s this one episode where Margaret, who Cliff had a brief fling with, is coming to visit him. Which sparks this conversation:

Lilith: “Who’s Margaret?”

Frazier: “Oh, Cliff’s former girlfriend.”

Lilith: “If you didn’t want to tell me, just say so.”

 

Pelosi has said the SOTU shouldn't be given during a government shutdown. Man, you try to take away Trump's time in front of the cameras and you're asking for trouble.

 

A president who really has the nation's best interests at heart would be concerned about this. Since Trump doesn't, he isn't.
