Yes, I know. But it’s often on sale, and it’s passable.

-Someone else mentioned Lululemon workout clothes. I'll second that. Great fit, great look, unbelievable durability and they never, ever start to smell no matter how long you have them. Worth the price.
-Elijah Craig (for everyday bourbon -- best taste/price ratio out there)
    -Talisker
    -Polar seltzer
    -Peet's Coffee
-Sierra Nevada Pale Ale (I could never be someone who drinks one kind of beer. I'd get bored. And SNPA is not my favorite beer by a longshot. But in terms of quality, price and versatility in terms of food that it matches with -- and the fact that it goes well in hot weather and in cold weather -- makes it the one beer I always keep around)

Jeans: Levis 505. Sit at the waist, zipper fly, regular fit, the way a pair of jeans should be.

Deodorant: Ban roll-on, powder fresh scent. Have worn it for 30+ years. They discontinued it at one point and I bought like 25 bottles of it from a store that had some, and then the company brought it back a year later.

Sneakers: Converse Chuck Taylor All Stars. Been wearing them since my early teens. Used to have them on my feet 80 percent of the time, less so now, but I am a 50-year-old man. Still always have a few pairs in the closet.

Toilet paper: Scott. The really cheap toilet paper that has more crammed into a roll. My sister makes fun of me for buying it and says I am a cheap bastard, but this is what I grew up with and it hasn't changed. My mom bought that toilet paper, I buy it.

Paul Mitchell Leave-In conditioner: It is a do-all product. A dab goes into what little hair I have left after I shower. I also use it on my face and body when skin is dry. Also have used it to shave when I am traveling and don't want to carry a separate shaving cream.

Beer: Guinness. Have switched around between lots of beers, but there will always be Guinness in the fridge as long as I am still breathing.
