Mueller's office hardly ever comments. That is one colossal fuckup. Jesus, you have to get that right.

 

When noon today came and went with no corroboration, you had to start suspecting the BuzzFeed piece was in trouble.
My question is why Mueller's office waited until 8 pm to issue its statement. If the story is wrong, Mueller's people have to deny it. But what took them so long?

 

That's a very specific, focused denial.

 

Right. It doesn't say, "Some of the characterizations are wrong." It doesn't say, "Some of the statements are misleading." It basically says the story is garbage.

 

Also, if they fucked this up, both reporters and Ben Smith need to be shitcanned immediately.

 

And BuzzFeed News should probably be buried and the earth salted so nothing can ever grow again.

Mueller, who never talks, just had his spokesperson say aspects of this story are bullshit. The MSM has nothing to do with it.
