The president's 'people' look really miserable on camera.
The ones who stand directly behind him, I mean.
    Just miserable.

While Ohio, along with Indiana, Pennsylvania and Michigan produced significant amount of Union soldiers and Kentucky was a border state with significant southern sympathies, today they have the small minded, anti-vax, anti-intellectualism that is the hall mark of the slack jawed idiocy that is middle American trumpism

Like the turtle Kentucky has an unearned arrogance.
Same as Mississippi, the No. 1 mooch among states getting federal monies - and giving the country almost nothing in return

So if he'd say something today, what, you'd think he wasn't?

Nothing - short of repentance - can erase the stupidity of what he said post-Charlottesville.

I think the the bigger question, journalistically, is whether a news outlet should report it as "blackface" when it's a kid's whole body, and it's for a sporting event. The word "blackface" used to suggest intent of using a racist technique to depict a black person. (Even in the Megyn Kelly situation, she was talking about painting one's face black).

What was intent here? Was it even close to that? Is "we shouldn't do that" synonymous "so it's something racist?"

Fair to ask the question about the word "blackface" in the hed, for sure. But I'm not sure how far down the rabbithole of "intent" we have to go as regards the students and parents and the teachers.

It's the 21st century. Folks should know better.

That's the first question she got.

    Wanna know why?

Because Harris filed a brief disagreeing with an inmate (in jail for second-degree murder) that the denial of "gender confirmation" surgery constituted a violation of the Eighth Amendment for cruel and unusual punishment.

    The first question.
