So who the hell is voting for Clemens but not for Bonds?

The 2014 ballot now has 12 Hall of Famers on it. If Bonds, Clemens and Schilling get in, the top 15 vote-getters on that ballot will have been inducted at some point.

Hell Ruth didn’t even finish with the most votes in that first election: Cobb did.

Among them: Rene Cardenas (doesn't say) and Sadiel Lebron had a 10-person ballot and left Bonds off to vote for others; said if there was no limit would have voted for him

The two who voted for Placido Polanco should not only lose their ballots, they should be fired directly into the sun.

Impressive. The 1962 has 38 hofers on it including the top 16. Marty Marion was 17th.

2014 could get 21 -- the others: in order on the ballot: Kent, McGriff, McGwire, Walker, Sosa, Palmeiro. Walker and McGriff seem like locks at this point

FYI, I pulled 1962 randomly...there may be ones with more.

A bunch of the older ones will because of Vet Committee picks. I picked 2014 because it was relatively recent and people bitch about "how can you have a full ballot? There's not 10 Hall of Famers to pick."
