Search for footballer's plane resumes

Cardiff City striker’s plane missing. Looks like it was just him and the pilot on board. Was on his way to meet the team he’d just signed with and flight went missing over the English Channel. It’s likely the 28-year-old is dead, as us the pilot.

Can’t imagine the emotional swing for the family. Just signed what had to be a dream contract and now they’ve lost their son.

 

Truly a terrible story.

Saw that Watford just posted condolences on Twitter to Cardiff and the families of both Sala and the pilot, so I assume the news isn't good.

Plane has been found with at least one body recovered

Edit: Looks like they could only recover one body before weather grounded operations. They may not recover the other(s).
