A good article. I know Blatt was a very successful coach in Israel. But I have the impression that Blatt thinks he is a basketball genius. Why? Because Blatt will be happy to tell you he is. Then he gets to the NBA and can't manage his timeouts and has to rely on Lue. I think Blatt is probably not as smart as he thinks and the lack of humility hurt him in Cleveland.

Emergency 3-hour Bill Simmons podcast on 12 possible destinations for Davis being recorded as we speak.

I mean, there are two serious ones - Celtics and Lakers. Celtics because of the assets they can dangle, Lakers because Davis would probably agree to the trade and to sign there.

Pelicans say no to that. They'll do a hell of a lot better.

If I'm the Lakers I tell the Pelicans they can have anyone they want apart from LeBron. Ball, Kuzma, Ingram, Hart? Take 'em all. Just tell us the deal, we'll do it.

The Pelicans are crazy if they don't wait until the offseason when the Celtics can get involved. A Celtics-Lakers bidding war is their best hope.

Maybe AD has no interest in playing in Boston.

BTW, that's what I would expect from Simmons. I usually don't start drinking until noon so I am not yet totally divorced from reality.

Boston has a lot of stuff to offer but I'm not sure how good it is. Their picks aren't the most attractive and Jaylen Brown's value has taken a hit this year.
