I realize it will probably get a good rating, I do wonder what CNN is thinking giving Harris a free primetime hour in Iowa - something they haven't given to any other announced candidate as far as I know.

 

Florida man strikes again.

 

Weird - seems like they could have stashed him somewhere else that wouldn't have made a ripple.

 

The Feds were excessive in how they arrested Roger Stone.

Chris Christie was also excessive when he did his weird shit.

 

Christie also said he thought the indictment has Stone dead to rights.

 

I don't know. He's a reasonable flight risk, which is why you don't have him turn himself in.

They didn't kick his door down.

And while it's unlikely he'd pull a gun to use on them, he might pull one to use on himself. And in the confusion someone might get hurt.

This seems like an excess of caution more than anything else.

 

Stone's arrest was standard operating procedure under DOJ guidelines. One of the charges was witness tampering involving a threat (to a dog). Threats by an arrestee equals show of armed force and early wake-up call. All by the book.
