    Agreed. Needs a break.

Agreed too. Their depth is ridiculous, but they can’t push them all at once and fans get mad when the guy they want to get pushed gets put in the mid card.

Which begs the question, do wrestling fans now prefer “characters” like Seth Rollins, Daniel Bryan, Kevin Owens, Samoa Joe, etc.? And could characters like Rude, DiBiase, Warrior, etc. work in the WWE today?

Since he’s kind of well liked by the smarks, how will his last match be received? Or was last night jobbing out to Seth the last we see of him?

Like if I was mid-carder X and that guy whos leaving got a Mania payday instead of me I wouldnt be psyched. Do they keep him off the show

I find it strange that the WWE twitter account tweeted about it. Even more so that it’s rumored that Ambrose will be taking on HHH at Wrestlemania. Maybe they have H use it has an angle in the storyline?!

I don't know what the hell is going on with the U.S. belt. Was that a botch with Shin being counted down? Are doing this all on the fly? Is Rusev turning heel again?

Sure they could, because a lot of those guys are just archetypes of characters who have been reintroduced time and again.
Rude was basically the asshole heel. He had enough charisma to work today, and even his old gimmick might not need much updating. He'd have to walk a fine line in the #MeToo era, but he could use it to his advantage.
They've tried updated versions of DiBiase with JBL and Alberto Del Rio, to varying success. The right guy can pull it off, the wrong one makes it meh.
At his core, Warrior was in the unstoppable ass kicker role. You could argue that Braun Strowman is his spiritual successor. A modern version of Warrior that combines Strowman's strength with R-Truth's insanity could be a hell of a lot of fun for a while.

They could, with a mix where the characters have some realism to them. Look at how over Elias is right now. He’s doing the same thing Honky Tonk Man did in the 80s and J-E-Double F, J-A-Double R-E-Double T did in the 90s. Where the WWF went wrong was the characters became a little too dumb (garbage men, evil dentists, pirates).

It is kinda strange, unless they’re working everyone and trying to do a Punk-style storyline where Ambrose rips on Trips for the company being stupid.

Or, they could have done a loser leaves the company match at WM.

Looks like Rowan is the next guy who lost a name.
