Those people are mentally off. I am sure it is a specific "syndrome". That is not normal rational behavior.

That is why we have the safe haven laws. I think it is just a human flaw, can't think of the best word. As people we have groups that are not what we consider normal.

 

Abortions at or after 24 weeks are sometimes needed medically. Anyone who says otherwise is wrong.

 

Any is too many. That said, the option was out there earlier for most of those women, barring those with no money or transport or who live in states who make a legal abortion near impossible. I agree wholeheartedly that those infants should have been given up for adoption if the mothers couldn't/wouldn't care for them. My feeling this is that a mother who could drop a newborn in a trashcan has substantial mental problems.

That said, I think that a man who kills an infant "because it wouldn't stop crying", which also happens, is very similar, and that neither of them are really about abortion laws.
