Let's say that isn't him. And yet, he doesn't recall the event. And doesn't seem to recall being shocked when he saw that photo next to his name. Shocked enough to find out when it happened. He was studying to be a doctor. A licensed professional and he didn't think that would be problematic.

Nobody cares about the Super Bowl halftime show except the Pepsi-Cola Co. And when they wise up, the league can go back to Up With People. No one will care about that, either. Music is approximately one-one millionth as important to my children, who're adults now, as it is to me and has been all my life, and folks younger than them care even less about it.

Yeah, I can say flatly I have never been photographed in blackface or Klan robes, because I've never been in blackface or Klan robes. Or even hung out with people who thought blackface or Klan robes were funny.
    Yep.

What if the two guys in the photo are the same dudes who attacked Jussie Smollett in Chicago?

I made a lot of mistakes in my salad days but taking pictures in blackface and mocking native elders wasn't among them.

He should absolutely resign, one minute after trump McConnell and king. The party of Roy Moore has no place to point a single finger at anyone and anytime.
Al Franken took the high road and not a single conservative has followed suit.

I understand that reasoning, but the Virginia governorship is different in that it's one fixed, four-year term. There isn't as much to give up. Furthermore, both U.S. Senators are relatively young. Not sure what Northam's next move would be if he had one.
The main issue is whether the Lt. Gov., who is African American, can run for a full term if promoted to the top job. I haven't seen that addressed.

IT was addressed in a Washington Post article. He can run after his ascended term is completed

Also, Virginia governors are forbidden only from consecutive elected terms

Thanks. And I didn't know that about the potential chance to serve non-consecutive terms.

Would love to know if there is any gambling action on this Northam thing. Not yet as far as I can tell.

I don’t take my moral cues from conservatives: Northram needs to resign because it’s the right thing to do. The fact that Democrats will do the right thing but Republicans won’t is a feature, not a bug

Treat it like a medical issue not a criminal one.
