Parody can't possible keep up with reality anymore.

 

With the coonman nickname in college and the Michael Jackson admission, I think it is clear that when younger Northam's shtick was dressing up as and mocking black people. That would fit all the facts. What is depressing is while this was so well known as to be put in two yearbooks it did not catch up to him until today.

 

Northam should not only resign because he wore blackface and/or a KKK hood, he should resign because he’s a terrible politician. What a train wreck.

 

What policy, program, appointment, legislation, regulation or statement has Notham made since being elected governor that would indicate he is a racist, a bigot or prejudiced?

 

Jesus, the guy was looking around to see if there was space to moonwalk before his wife told him it would be inappropriate. What a train wreck. And the look on his wife's face is one of, "I would rather be anyplace else right now."

 

I always feel terrible for the wife in a situation like that. They have to go to the news conference and stand there with a look that says "Yes, I married an idiot."

This isn't since being elected, but it's close. He airbrushed his black running mate out of some campaign materials in order to appease some who had opposed him. You can argue that it's just politics, but not a good look.

And that was known by the public before the election. And it was done not out of racial animus but Union animus
