I mean, however he classifies his time, you can't say he's not immersed in whatever's going on. He often appears to have no idea how to handle things, but I don't think you can say he's not paying attention.

Bush was doing God-knows-what that first year. He wasn't in charge. Trump, for better and usually worse, is every bit the person everybody pays attention to all day.

An impeachable offense is whatever the Virginia House says it is.

    Commodus liked watching gladiators.

But he didn't want his nephew Lucius to become one.

He’s qualified to be Senate Majority leader. And Supreme Court Justice. And president of the US. But not gov of Virginia?

He's not paying attention to anything besides the Big Mac shipment that just arrived on his desk, whatever they're screeching about on Faux Fascist Noise, or Ivanky wiggling across the room in a halter top.

The only thing they could get him on would be lying to the public on Friday or Saturday. And then we get back to the Ford Doctrine: "An impeachable offense is whatever the House of Representatives says is an impeachable offense." Or something like that.
Lying to the public is why I thought Clinton should have been tossed from office.

    Agreed.

Honestly, I get the impression he's in the "still learning" phase about where race in America is at this point. And I don't get the impression he'd be against, for one second, where that conversation is. By he struck me as notably naive.

Nice effort on Super Bowl Sunday.

If Northam is going to quit, I'd suggest he do it between about 6:30 and 10 p.m. tonight. Sneak out of the Governor's mansion without anybody noticing.
If he still hasn't budged in 24 hours, he'll be a Trumpist in short order.

This from a guy who fired up his SEC base by blasting the NFL for going soft on violence in the sport.

Ted Kaczynski is qualified to be President of the United States.

(Probably more qualified than the fatfuck incumbent, in fact.)

I’m surprised he knows what his kid likes.
