This is one of the more damning things of his presidency. He can't even have a top 10 list of candidates compiled for him by his staff and pick a person. He can't even bothered to do like, one a day, as if that's too taxing.

He's taken enough trips on Air Force One in which that time along would have been sufficient and he just won't even bother.

If college is free, what does it really matter if student athletes (or their fathers) think that my reporting costs them a scholarship?

    That's a thought.

It's interesting though with athletic scholarships. I mean, you can take any class you like if you're a good student. If you're not, hey, pal, here's the major for you. Here are four years worth of test banks. Here's topics you can write your papers on. Here's your tutor. Stay eligible, K?

Tell it to the kidnapped kids in cages. The "we" getting along fine with Trump in the White House is doing a lot of work in that sentence. PS: z(cap on my z in keyboard not working)uckerberg sucks, too. But it's a lot easier to disconnect your life from Facebook than from the USA.

Yeah, but the kids in cages happened under Obama, too. Obama did not solve the immigration issue at all.

President after president has stunk on immigration. We care more now because Trump's so bad at playing this game he thinks a big ol wall is the solution. It's not, but Trump did not reverse a policy that was working. Nothing has.

So now we're back to the argument that he isn't doing enough damage for it to be a horrific situation, so everything is okay? That's how low you want to sink to justify President Trump's presence in the White House?

The kids in cages were just one example, and President Trump's heavy-handed, misguided attempts at dealing with immigration have done nothing but make the situation worse. That you can't wrap your head around anything but the kids in cages narrative is just part of this entire simplistic, foolish argument on your part.

The simple truth is we don't know exactly how much damage he is doing because so much of it will play out over the long term. We don't know the fallout from the damage he is doing to the relationships the United States has with allies and antagonists. It certainly can't help to keep pissing off allies while blundering after favor and playing the fool for Russia and North Korea.

He is also serving to further polarize the population of the United States, in part through actions and policies that have emboldened the worst and most hateful of us. He continues to sell the idea that truth is irrelevant and facts are optional. How is that not damaging in the long term?

Ask all of the people whose lives were disrupted by the shutdown if he is doing any damage. Ask the people of Puerto Rico, or have you forgotten the way he neglected them in their time of need?

Those last two are just some of the tangible forms of damage, but the president can hurt this country in many ways beyond the tangible. You seem to have forgotten that, too.

They have no intention of filling those vacancies.

On the broad philosophical level, they're following the refined political thinking of Bannon and Miller, and "deconstructing the administrative state." (Remember, their working presumption is that nothing the government does --except the military-- is beneficial.)

On the dollars and donuts level, it's much simpler than that:

    They're
    Looting
    The
    Money.

The taxes you paid you thought were going for meat inspection, national parks, air safety, etc etc, yadda yadda, is all going in Fatfuck's pockets.

When he listens to and takes advise from Brian Kilmeade, Long Island University and Sean Hannity St Pius X High School over Dan Coates his own right wing Director of National Intelligence, former US Senator with a law degree, you must think that Trump lacks the depth to listen to a complete sentence.

    And when the paper's editor DOESN'T fall out of a window . . . ?

    Idiots always forget that part.

Can Putin be criticized by Russian media or not? Make up your mind.

Obviously, it seems as though he can (as anyone who actually READS Russian media has known for many years).

If there is a subject you actually know something about . . . I suggest you stay in that lane. So far, your reputation is basically, "Who the fuck is this Regan MacNeil asshole?"

But we have not been blown up yet and Obama had a kid in a cage so all is well. At least I think this is the latest talking points list.

That’s the rightwing favorite line. They are so intellectually stunted so they can’t keep more than one idea in their simple mind. The other guy did it, we hated it, but we’re doing it, because we suck harder. Obama separated 14 kids from their parents, we separated thousands.
