Last night’s subpoena is getting short shrift, for some reason.

Here's why the SDNY is even more dangerous to Trump and Co than Mueller is:

They also are in NY, which puts the Trump Org. in their jurisdiction.

This is the other story that maybe didn't get as much attention as it deserved. Once the House Intel Committee gives Mueller the transcripts of testimony in front of them, he can compare that to what was testified to elsewhere, particularly in front of the Senate, FBI or his grand jury. Don, Jr. and numerous others are now on the clock.

Article contains both thumbnail descriptions of probable perjuries and a more detailed chart tracking same.

I'll admit confusion at your end goal here, but I think we might be on the same side of something for completely different reasons. I think the debt that American students accumulate, to graduate with horseshit BAs, is unconscionable. That means you need to lower tuition, right? I don't know why American tuition is so high—I don't doubt that easy debt makes it more possible than less—but I don't think anyone can make the case that it's not too high. It's ridiculously high, especially compared to the rest of the developed world. It's just another thing that Americans have come to accept as normal when, relative to every other advanced nation on Earth, it's obscene. The fog you guys live in... It's like your country is a cult.

Like, Oxford at $12,000 a year versus Harvard at $45,000... The better option is so obvious that it's not even a valid choice.

My taxes were essentially the same as last year ... received roughly the same amount in a return. I am not a homeowner, though, so I didn't have a bunch of itemized deductions and what not.
