At first I thought Abrams was a bad choice. Now I know it's a stupid choice.
The response isn't a response at all.

This is all really just Democrat talking points. Again, not an actual response to the speech. GOP wins this round.

She's a good speaker. I like her demeanor and her polish but, man, the message just isn't there.

 

"CALL RACISM WHAT IT IS" -- almost 15 minutes in.

 

Most responses require the person giving it to give some background on themselves, Jindal, Rubio, McMorris Rogers, etc. People don't know who these people are.

Besides - how do you "respond" to the SOTU speech? Say that it wasn't a good thing we won WWII? That childhood cancer is a good thing?

 

SOTU was long and boring. Low-energy Trump. That was him Playing nice. He has no particularly provocative or compelling ideas.

Abrams is likable. She went on too long. Stump speech.

 

Should have launched off with a blast against voter suppression, and plastered Fatboy flat out as a racist.

Then napalmed his "economic plan" with the Vinny Gambini Defense.

 

Point out that Fucko's budget cuts and particulary the shutdown are hamstringing veterans services and cancer research. "Thanks a lot, Fatboy."
