I’m 56 also, and I knew it was wrong even in the late 70s in high school. We knew better. We didn’t use the ‘N’ word. I never knew anyone who did blackface but I also studiously avoided frats and social group think. We knew date rape was wrong, putting quaaludes in girls drinks was wrong and women and men are intellectually equals. No one asks to be raped and a noose was a sign of oppression.

The issue is that those who did those things just had no respect or empathy for people who are ‘different’. True racists don’t do it behind closed doors, they do it by denying blacks housing, women significant jobs and would never befriend Jews or Asians.

Other things were political disagreements, like affirmative action. Equitable treatment vs Equal treatment.

And I love The Quiet Man, and she deserved to be dragged back to her brother.

It's adorable the republicans want the investigations to end. Good luck with that.

Nixon said the same thing in his 1971(?) State of the Union address. How'd that work out? The parallels are so perfect, you couldn't make this sh*t up.

Poor effort of trolling, even by your standards. What a scorching hot take scooped straight from the anus of Sean Hannity.

You might have missed the midterms. The people sent a clear rebuke of this administration.

Seriously??? Rainman is supporting the guy who's got CONVICTED felons all around him, including his personal lawyer. (Hint on life, your lawyer knows EVERYTHING about your life.) Oh yeah, forgot who the poster was.

Sadly, this is true. He is a national figure.
The beast sprang from SEC country and in part because his declaration that SEC football is a proxy for South-will-rise-again politics. That is still the source of his most ardent support.
SEC states are the polar opposite of the rest of the country. In the most recent state-by-state Morning Consult polling, Trump is a plus-9 (52-43) in favorability in SEC states and 43-52 elsewhere.

The reference is just obscure enough people won’t get it. Plus she deleted it.

She’s not good at social media, IMO.

A few will. I did. Doesn't matter. It was there long enough.
She's not good at much of anything.
