Too bad Dana Plato isn’t still alive. She’d win in a landslide.

Clinton's party lost 54 House seats and 9 Senate seats in 1994. And he was re-elected.

Obama's party lost 63 House seats and 9 Senate seats in 2010. And he was re-elected.

"Clear rebukes" just ain't what they used to be.

And we're far, far removed from politics as usual.

I refuse to give in to the "inevitability" of Trump's re-election simply because of the history of other incumbents.

We've only seen this level of corruption in our presidency once before (that we know about), and that was Nixon. Moreover the level of blatant lies from Trump is another distinguishing factor.

Obama and Clinton did not have corrupt, convicted felons in their closest circle of advisors. I have little doubt that there are more felons to be uncovered soon (at least before the 2020 election.)

The calculus in my view is that I'm done trying to convince his "base" that he's unworthy, they are the ones that believe that the Civil War was right, that Jim Crow laws should still be in effect, and who think that males should tell women what to do with their bodies .

The key is those moderate, swing voters in the middle. Yes there's a large bloc of them and they rejected Clinton. They were the reason that the midterms went the way they did. They can be, and have been, enlightened about the costs of electing Trump and will not make that mistake again.

Is there a less interesting political storyline than Warren identifying as American Indian? Good lord, what the hell does it have to do with anything?

What was the reason the 1994 and 2010 midterms went the way they did?

It shouldn't be but these aren't normal times. Warren lied about her ethnicity. That plays right into Trump's hands. If she gets the nomination, Trump would chew her up in the election. Heck, he WANTS to run against her.

Butina's boyfriend Erikson has flipped in " a multi-defendant indictment". Spicy has a number of documents up. Wire fraud and money laundering charges.
