Well, if it were leaked by former staffers I think it would. It’s more that there are several former employees who feel strongly about her. (Or, perhaps, want someone else to win.)

At any rate, she was rebuked by Reid. I don’t think that happens every day.

 

Unless I read over it, the Reid bit isn't in the BuzzFeed story. I think HuffPo might have reported that.

What does "rebuke" mean? Some sort of formal, written reprimand? Reid saying, "hey, maybe go easy?"

 

When you are in that kind of position like Klobuchar has, you really need a Chief of Staff who knows what the deal is going in. That he or she will be taking the brunt of the negative feedback and have the CoS be the "bad guy" in the office.
