Did Trump criticize Obama for installing a TV, stereo, gaming system, etc. I know he went after him for golf (which turned out to be hypocrisy of the highest order) but I don't recall him ripping Obama for any kind of recreational activity inside the White House.

Yeah, seriously, who gives a damn. There used to be a swimming pool under the press room, where JFK used to get busy with his harem. Ike had a putting green put in IIRC. There used to be a bowling alley. There is already an onsite movie theater. The Kennedys had a swing set for their young kids. What, they were supposed to travel offsite to ride the swings?

If there's something he can use that lets him blow off steam and keeps him on site, then go for it.

I've always figured Presidents were attracted to the game of golf especially because it may have been the only hours they felt kind of "normal" outside of the bubble - without barricades all over the place, people protesting you, cheering for you. If it helps them maintain a modicum of sanity - go right ahead. And in this Presidents case - he probably needs to play more often.
