I think it's past time for them to give Kofi a shine with the belt. Play him as the plucky underdog like they did with Bryan. Have Kofi remind Bryan of what he was and what he's turned into.

I mean they gave Bray the title just long enough to switch it over to Randy at WM, they could do the same here. Kofi's definitely deserved it.

Now, I know they're not gonna do it but hey, it'd be cool if they did.

Kofi makes sense as a "longtime midcard guy gets rewarded for excellent service" pick, kind of like how they elevated Benoit and Eddie and... shit, that's all who comes to mind, even though they're not exactly pleasant examples now. Zach Ryder, too, although he was much lower on the card.

Christian had a couple of title reigns with Goldie late in his career, too.

Fun fact: Kofi has the most major championships (15) of any WWE wrestler without ever holding one of the world championships. Billy Gunn (12), Jeff Jarrett (10) and Matt Hardy (10) are next on the list.
If only Kofi hadn't botched Randy Orton's punt, I wonder what might have been.

I don't think it was so much about the arrest that it's the wrong Uso.

Elimination Chamber has to go on last right?

When was the last time the wwf title closed a dual brand show? Has to be YEARS. Im not sure its ever happened since the universal belt was launched.

This is fascinating as hell. Around 1979 or 1980, five wrestlers (Bob Roop, Boris Malenko, Ron Wright, Ron Garvin and Cowboy Bob Orton) did what may be the first shoot video, in which they exposed the business. This supposedly took place during the Fuller-Poffo territory war in Tennessee and Kentucky, and apparently, they were going to put the video out to pressure promoters. In a way, it’s a good thing they didn’t, because they would have been blackballed.

Roop promised they were going to do more videos, including talking about homosexuality and drug use in the business, but the videos were either never made, or lost, or in someone’s attic.
