Fine match, wasn’t surprised they didn’t put Kofi over, but I thought there would be more shenanigans that screwed him out of the belt.

Crowd was going nuts for him. That’s some genuine emotion. I hope the E puts the belt on him at Mania.

I'm not entirely disappointed or surprised Bryan won. I kind of want to see more of his title run. I just hope they don't squander the reaction Kofi was getting this week. If he'd won the belt tonight the roof would have blown off of that place. Hopefully they notice that and run with it.
    Doing otherwise would be STUPID!

Yeah just the Kofi vs Bryan portion of that was a match of the year candidate. Love to see then roll it back at Mania.

I dont like New Day and I got sucked in big time. The false finishes between Kofi and DB were outstanding

Weird to think, for as long as Kofi has been in WWE and portrayed as the vet, he was still the youngest one in the Chamber, by a few months to Bryan.

I loved that Kofi screamed "It's my time".

Dolph screamed the same thing after cashing-in his money in the bank and winning the belt against ADR.

  6. The chamber match was excellent. Two story lines building that I'm excited about ...
    1. An Orton-Styles Wrestlemania match.
    2. Kofi attempting to win his first major title (if you don't count ECW. I don't).

There might be ways to construe Kofi would be the first black wwe champion.

I vaguely remember Rosenberg ranting about how Rock doesnt count and Booker T and Henry only had the “world” big gold belt not the “wwe” belt back in the Shoemaker cheap heat days.

Kind of foolish to me but its something if there are people who feel that way. By 2019 it really shouldnt be a thing where there are so few black world champs that its even arguable

Always thought that Shelton Benjamin would have been that wrestler. Obviously, didn't up that way. Fans are clearly behind Kofi right now, and I hope the WWE do not ruin his momentum.

That said, Kofi is bound for the Wrestling Hall of Fame, right?

WWE Hall of Fame? Without a shadow of doubt. He's already the most decorated tag specialist in WWE history. THEN, you add his singles stuff and the immense popularity of New Day (who themselves I think should get in as a group, like the Freebirds).
