No, the funniest thing about the "coup thing" is that removing Trump on the grounds that he is unstable and mentally unfit for the job, based on a vote by the cabinet members he selected, would be a completely legal and constitutional action.

Amazing how Trumpists love to claim their Biblical ties and the power of prayer while seeming to have little regard for the Biblical assertion that the truth shall set you free.

 

If a majority of the cabinet simply thinks the POTUS is "acting wacky," under the 25th that's good enough.

Of course since the Cabinet is made up of personal appointees of the POTUS, it's astronomically unlikely any Cabinet would ever use the 25th anyway.

Even in the much used example of a comatose or injured president, Cabinet members pledged to personal subservience to the president will never ever vote to remove. "Yeah I know he's lying comatose, but he should be up and around any time now."

It's a useless amendment and will need to be rewritten in due time.

 

Seems to me this should be good for an instantaneous contempt of court citation, as in "bang-zoom off-to-jail-with-you."

There's a single reason I'm not going to click on that story, and it's because the headline writer had 18 words to tell me why Amazon backed out of New York . . . and chose not to tell me.
