How much of the salary is ESPN picking up?

Listening to Witten on those broadcasts makes me wonder if taking more shots to the head is his best move at this point.

Can the Cowboys sign Boog and Tess as well?

What bugs me is that it is hard to believe that Witten was good (or at least better) in his auditions than he was when he began calling games for real. It also goes to show you how hard it is to get a big name with a big personality who can actually provide some insight. Romo is three for three, Aikman is a one and half and Collinsworth is a 2. If Witten played for Cleveland he never would have gotten an interview.

Kyler Murray's extra 1/2 inch is the greatest half inch since Melania first saw Donald in the shower

Even the change in OT rules bugs me - it's a coinflip (literally and figuratively). You don't think OT is fair, don't play for OT.

They'll never change the OT rules except to make OT shorter if TV insists. I believe both teams should get the ball in OT. If a team scores a TD on the first possession as the Patriots did, it would rightfully enjoy a huge advantage, but the game wouldn't end without both teams having a chance to score. In 1978 today's rule would work fine, but scoring has increased enough so that the change ought to be made. It won't be, though.

I wouldn't be surprised if they changed the OT rules for the playoff games. I say let them just play another quarter. It's the playoffs. No rule that says OT rules have be uniform. The NHL doesn't do a 3-on-3 and then a shootout in playoff overtime because that would be fucking stupid.

I really can't believe an NFL GM would be able to get away with drafting a QB with a top 10 pick in successive drafts. Maybe Kingsbury demanded Murray in order to take the job.
Still - this could be the first season I can remember when every team opens with a "franchiseQB/QBoftheFuture" on their roster. Four QBs expected to go in the first round and Foles and Rosen will wind up somewhere filling the needs of the Redskins, Jags, Giants, Broncos, and Dolphins. And the Bengals if they move on from Dalton.
