He's a Hall of Famer in my book for this scene alone:

My college paper ran a Beverly Hills 90210 recap every week.

The Peach Pit was, without a doubt, the dumbest name for a hangout in TV history.

I remember that episode so well. I’d read a spoiler in a newspaper earlier that day about how the cowboy kid was going to die, but Fox had hyped it up like one of the main group was dying. So that night, in my college dorm, which had one TV with cable, it was SRO full of women worried that one of the main guys was dying. After cowboy kid died, several of the girls left because they didn’t care.

I always thought it was nutty that they turned a little diner into a nightclub.

I was always more of a The Heights guy myself.

How do you talk to an angel ...

I think that show was on for like six weeks but that song seemed to get played six times an hour for six months.

I think they waited until the song fell out of the No. 1 spot, then cancelled the show the next week.

I gave The Heights a brief opportunity, but that was mostly due to the presence of Cheryl Pollak and Charlotte Ross.
