Did anyone really think this roster would get out of the first round in any event? Who cares?

Nope. The question before the season was whether they'd make the playoffs. The consensus was they would probably make it in... but that was before LeBron and Lonzo broke.

When they hit Christmas and kicked the Warriors' ass on national TV and were 20-14, they looked like they could make noise. That's the game LeBron's groin popped.

I'd like to see all pro leagues start issuing $1 million dollar fines for tampering. Granted, most doing the recruiting can afford it. Maybe also cut the salary cap by a $1 mil for each violation. Figure that would end things pretty quick,

    Bizarre ending to Sixers-Bulls.
Sixers had the ball to inbound with .5 seconds left and down one. They can't get a pass into the post, game over, Bulls win 108-107. Postgame interviews are done, fans are filing out -- except the whole while the refs are at the replay monitor. Seems the clock started a fraction of a second too early and they have to redo the final play.
So they have to call the Sixers back out of the locker room and they get another chance. Seven or eight minutes later, in front of an arean that's about one tenth full, they still can't get a decent catch and shoot play off the inbounds pass and still lose 108-107 to a Bulls team that's 28 games under .500.

I didn't get the delay. They lobbed in the inbounds pass and the buzzer went off while the pass was in midair, well before anyone touched it. It should have been really obvious.

Would have been crazy if the Sixers scored on that replay in front of an empty arena.

I think the question was whether Lopez might have tipped it right as it was passed in. Seemed clear that he didn't, but replay can make you see things sometimes.
I walked away from it, then saw it was still on a few minutes later and thought it was a replay of the first inbounds pass. Took me a minute to catch on that they gave the Sixers a do-over.

Personally, I was hoping for a foul. Had the Sixers minus-4 1/2 as the last leg of a parlay with two college games that were safely in the books by then. Jerks.

Another brilliant 2 for 1? Is LeBron even playing basketball or is he correcting Einstein’s math?

Everyone who received a paycheck connected to sports said that the Lakers would make the playoffs and LeBron being LeBron, he would take the Lakers to a conference finals. He’s played with dreck before and gotten to the Finals.
No one making money off sports had the courage to criticize LeBron. And as Easter is upon us, those same people will now lament the Passion of the Bron. He died for your fouls. Will Windhorst deny him 3 times?
As the Playoffs Passover Los Angeles and the King sits on his throne Or will he be Stapled on his Cross, will St Magic spread the gospel of James? Will Luke be shownthe pearly gates of the Forum?

Are you still saying that going 2 for 1 is a bad strategy? You seemed to go missing for a while after everyone pointed out what a fool you were.
