So Gruden was right - players do want to play for him and the Raiders (as long as they are getting seriously paid).

Seems like every year they draft both wideouts and cornerbacks. Unfortunately they never seem to get lucky with CBs.

They are very good at drafting receivers, so hopefully that will continue.

Freaking Redskins. Why couldnt they have overpaid for Antonio Brown instead of wildly overpaying for Landon Collins?

I see a certain trend with where the Lions are going in free agency.

Gotta love it when a front office consisting of former Pats staff tries to set up Pats Lite in another city. It always works so well!

Has there been a player who was more productive/successful after their time in NE? I do believe it helps having some players who are familiar with the coaching staff and systems - but even the ProBowlers they decide not to resign for being too expensive don't seem to live up to their new contracts.

Richard Seymour made a couple of Pro Bowls with the Raiders.

Well, to be semi-fair, Flowers and Coleman are both 25, making the possibility they might perform well for the length of the contracts at least measurable.

During the Millen/Mayhew days, they'd be giving the same contracts to 32-year-olds.
