What could Mueller possibly have that we don't already know and they haven't shrugged off?

We know that his campaign was coordinating with Russian intelligence to run psy-op warfare on America. We know that he's committed dozens of financial felonies. He has committed textbook obstruction of justice numerous times wide open and in public. We know that he overruled intelligence officials to give his son clearance, and his son then traded secret information to the Saudis. We know that he's trading access to cabinet secretaries for back-claps are Mar-A-Lago and favorable regulations for hotel stays at Trump brands. Republicans have shrugged off every bit of it.

I literally cannot think of a single thing he could possibly do that would make them turn on him. He could nuke an American city and they'd justify it. I'm not kidding.

The reason Tucker Carlson uses white nationalist rhetoric is because he's a white nationalist.

It doesn't matter about them. No, the Republicans won't impeach him. What Pelosi's trying to do is set up a situation where the heat on Republican Senators up for re-election in less than cinch seats in 2020 gets hotter. Let's presume the string of revelations gets longer, which looks like a safe bet. When she wants to turn the faucet on, she says, "I didn't want to do this, but we have to start the process." And when the Republicans howl, she can say, "I'm on the record saying I didn't want to do this, but I had to."

It won't work. Failure to impeach will be seen as an acquittal. Trump's appeal works as an unbeatable strong man, a born winner. Handing him a win feeds into it. See what happened to Clinton's popularity after he won his impeachment trial?

    Pelosi knows this.

She needs to quit paying lip service to the Team Fucko arguments. Don't repeat them and give them air.

Just say, "at this moment, impeachment would be impractical."

Period, the end, leave it at that.

As has been said, this is the right chess move for Pelosi. Nothing is off the table.

She will continue to outsmart Trump. That’s not difficult but she’s made all the proper calculations so far.
