    Well, I'm not a pilot @Pilot!

If you’re the Air Force One pilots, aren’t you just a bit tempted to put the plane in a controlled spin the next time the president is aboard?

Time to expose myself: I'm not either. I just reallllly wanted to be when I was about 11 and my family got AOL, so my internet screennames have been some variation of "Pilot" ever since.

I never lost interest, though! Sorry for all the people this revelation disappoints.

Do pilots who can't fly the newer, more complex planes get reassigned to raking the forest?

The budget called for a three percent pay hike for troops. Whether it happens or not...

If democrats were smart they’d budget 4.5% hike

I think that she's counting on a steady drip of scandals, fraud, and outright criminal acts to continue coming out. Over time, even some Senate Repubs may get a bellyfull, or decide that the damage to the party as a whole (and their re-election in particular) is too much to bear.

They can't bank on the drip drip approach, there have got to be some bombshells in there. Otherwise it's just more of the boiling frog syndrome.

The '74 election saw the Ds finish up with 60 Senate seats. Picking up six after the resignation. That should be the aim for the Senate Ds. Get some of the Rs on the '20 Senate ballot to suddenly waver.
