Bribery, greed: All for a little bit of Ivy League

According to my daily paper, Macy turned 69 years old today. To paraphrase Mr. Potter, "Happy birthday to you, in jail!"

 

I hereby dedicate this building to... myself.

 

That is the thing that bugs me about the case. I don't see much difference between a "donation" to the school or a third-party operative. It's the same deceit. The schools are probably embarassed because their deceit was exposed without a "donation" to show for it.

 

The excessive bail, overcharging and massive law enforcement response to this and Jessie Smollett seem to be a misplaced priority compared to this.

It's to remind parents where their kids will end up if they don't pay up..(Ducking - no pun intended).

 

Criminal or not, this does not alter my long-term plan to marry Ms. Loughlin at some point in my late 60s.

Hopefully, her kids will be out of college by then.

 

Having someone take the SAT or ACT for your kid is deplorable

 

To the point that minority kids have to be extraordinary just to keep pace with unexceptional white students.
