The Russians did not hack into voting machines, did not bribe election officials, so they did not fraudulently affect the voting totals.

Yes they and everyone else used social media to spread disinformation, propaganda and lies. Except for the social media tools, this has been a staple of USA politics from day one. The idea of "collusion" in maybe the only country in the world that allows free speech is meaningless.

Trump is right in that his motley gang of grifters and cheaters were put under the spotlight because of politics. So was Ms. Clinton's crew, the difference being she was smart enough to hire competent henchmen who knew how to be corrupt without breaking the rules. Trump is/was surrounded by greedy, ambitious idiots.

At the end of the day the Manafort investigation will not amount to a hill of beans.
