Conservatives have giddily responded to her celebrity. FNC especially. They know that casting the Democrats as far-left socialists in favor of systemic upheaval only augments the fear conservatives and even centrists have of massive change.

But she is the face of the Green New deal, which attracted a ton of news coverage.

Things can change of course. With Democrats they often do.

She also scolded Republicans in Congress and within the administration for not standing up to Trump.

Just because Conservatives wish it was so and you keep brainlessly repeating their desire as if it were fact does not make it true.

 

Just because you say it’s not true doesn’t make it false.

I may be wrong about it, but I don’t consume conservative media with any regularity. I’m also not a conservative.

I’m also not dumb. I’ve watched the blue side get shifted hard left in some key ways over the last three years. AOC merely represents that. It’s very logical.

Biden could change that conversation. Then the face of the party is a 70-year old white guy.

 

I'm resistant to the narrative being pushed by the Trumpists - who have cast AOC in the Hillary role as the anti-Christ who must be stopped at all costs.

Voters who aren't very online or don't watch Fox News can't pick her out of a crowd.
