maybe if they integrated the tournaments rather than these 'separate but equal' tournaments we can have a equal basis to compare accomplishments

I'm trying to remember the last time I saw a comparison between the College World Series in Omaha and the softball finals in OKC, right? They both run around bases, no? Or the volleyball tourneys, track meets, ect. Boosters of the women's game do themselves no favors with these comparisons.

 

a high school kid in Memphis had a triple double in a Championship game last month. a good non sequitur, too

 

It's so dumb. They're different games. If you want to make the argument that we should be calling the NCAA Tournament the Men's NCAA Tournament, I might be able to see that. Barely. But no one is confusing the men's and women's tournaments.
