So your stance is a president surrounded himself with questionable people?

Yeah, that’s never fucking happened in the history of American politics. Keep fucking that chicken.

Exactly. But when have the Dems in DC acted like adults in this century?

The Russians tried to influence the election they did not interfere. They did not physically prevent anyone form voting. They did not change any electronic or paper ballot.

The Mueller report made no recommendation on obstruction and left that to the DOJ. DOJ is not going to prosecute because the report proved there was no underlying crime. That makes sense.

Bottom line is the Democrats have about 18 months to come up with a game plan that isn’t “this is my fight...song. Fucked up our lives....song.”

No, my stance ultimately is that Trump courted corrupt people in his campaign and administration, more than any other recent presidential campaign and administration. Ethics have long been absent in politics, but Trump has brazenly flouted his willingness to cross the line.

The long list of charges brought to the likes of Manafort, Flynn, Cohen, and others is ample evidence of Trump's lack of ethics. There is no doubt in my mind that Trump loved that Russia was interfering in the election, and it didn't bother him at all that members of his campaign were seeking any possible way to take down Clinton. The fact that they didn't directly collude may have saved them legally, but not ethically.

Same with Trump's obstruction. It clearly occurred. We all saw it happen in real time. But because the DOJ standard for burden of proof of intent is so high, Trump skates.

So it gets left up to Congress, which will be deadlocked.

Which means it's ultimately left up to the American people, where half of the eligible voters don't go to the polls and the rest are too tribal to give a damn about logic and reason.

So Trump has acted like a chickenshit for two years for nothing?

    Great leadership there.

This reminds me of the Penn State investigation where we’re still arguing over whether Paterno knew or not.

Michael Cohen once described Trump as speaking mob boss lingo. He doesn't outright order people to do things, but makes his intentions clear.

Shit like that is probably what saved Trump's ass from criminal obstruction of justice charges.

So no one knows one word written in this report and everyone is saying everything is good because a guy Trump nominated is saying everything is cool?

If everything was cool then no one would be in jail. Just because you cannot charge it doesn’t mean a person is not guilty.

If Trump is squeaky clean, they would let report be published in 2 seconds. Not allowing it out into the public means it has some pretty crazy shit in it.

We also need to see the full report ASAP. There are a lot of unanswered questions. Why did Manafort and Gates meet with Klimmik? What about the Trump Tower meeting and subsequent decision to lie about it? Among others. Hopefully the full report can offer insight as to how those cases didn't lead to any charges.
