I have correctly picked 1o out of the Sweet 16 and all of the Elite 8. I have UVA winning. I had some upsets, but basically ran home to momma and picked the No. 1 and No. 2 seed in every region to make the Elite 8. Other than the Duke/UCF and MD/LSU games, almost all of the games have been pretty meh. I mean, yeah, Tennessee blew a 25-point lead and had to go to overtime, but that's more attributable to their crappy play than the work of Purdue.

I'm most proud of picking Liberty. I'm most ashamed of picking Murray State and Buffalo to go two rounds.

I'm surprised Altman re-upped at Oregon. He's always going to be in the shadow of football (despite being more consistantly successful) - and his tenure in Eugene has been rocky at times. Fans were calling for his job during the Pac12 season.

Nike money, Nike recruiting connections, grad transfers admitted to grad school with no questions asked, and no expectation of academic success for his players, who have graduated at Huggins-like percentages. Why would he ever leave?

Jerry Falwell Jr. was just on Fox & Friends commenting on the backlash Liberty received after beating Mississippi State
"All these people saying we're anti-LGBTQ-whatever."

I don't go past Q, either. All other letters are hereby "whatever."

So, what is logic in tipping off a basketball game at 10 PM in the EST?

Because one of the teams — specifically one bankrolled by Nike — is in the Pacific time zone.

    Isn't that usually the case?

I'd bet they don't tip at 10. They never do, More like 10:15 or 10:30.

Gonzaga's tipping off at 4:10 Pacific. In Anaheim. Good luck driving to the game. Hope you left already.
