Has Vince given any indication why he hates Kofi Kingston so much?
I get that they're mirroring Daniel Bryan's WM 30 storyline in a lot of ways. They're telling a good story with Bryan becoming the real hypocrite, and Kofi and New Day are killing it in the gritty underdog role. But it feels like it's missing a big piece on Vince's end and, as much as I hate to say it, there's more than a hint of veiled racism in that void. I'm half expecting the final opponents in tonight's tag team gauntlet match to be the debuting three-man stable of southern enforcer rednecks Kody, Korey and Kletus, who go by their catchier moniker of Triple K.

    He’s a B+ player. That’s it, really.

I enjoyed the Usos forfeiting their part in the Gauntlet.

On the plus side we lost a Mania match so the shows not as dense....but seriously what the fuck?

I liked that, too, especially since last week they were among the first wrestlers they showed watching Kofi's gauntlet match in the back with the New Day.

They could have easily done Asuka/Charlotte and Ronda/Becky and told stories with both. Instead, they have a convoluted messy three-way and Asuka is looking at the battle royal.

Tonight’s gauntlet was fun, but it was hurt by everyone not knowing until the end how many tag teams that New Day had to go through. Vince’s limo announcement also is cryptic. It would have been better if he came out to the ring and given Kofi the news himself. The babyfaces cheering on Kofi at the end was great, though.

Made me wonder if Asuka was hurt and they were trying to get her out of the picture for a while. That at least has some logic to it, though, in that you can kind of see why they'd want both women's champions in the Wrestlemania main event.
Kofi's is a story they've told several times over the years, both with faces (Daniel Bryan, CM Punk) and heels (Jinder Mahal). And it's on a show that has touted itself as "The Land of Opportunity" no less. It just feels like a missing piece to what has otherwise been a tremendous story told by all involved, and it's not a hard one to fill in. Vince could provide it with one good promo about brass rings or somesuch, but unless I missed it that hasn't happened yet. It's not lessening my enjoyment of the angle -- Smackdown has been on my must-watch list the last two weeks for the first time in months -- but it is nagging at me a little.

All of that said, what is Vince's next move? Does Kofi "go to Wrestlemania" as part of the battle royal? Does Vince give him a "championship match at Wrestlemania" ... as part of the New Day against the Usos? Does his last statement of "Can he beat Daniel Bryan for the title" mean we get a flip next week where he has to beat Bryan, win the title then, and he actually goes into Wrestlemania as the champion?
There's definitely another shoe waiting to drop here.

Whats really puzzling is the way the booked Asuska from November through Royal Rumble was specifically and very very well done to keep her strong, away from Becky/Charlotte/Rousey, and have a clear hot fued for Becky after she wins at Mania.

And in 10 weeks since they’ve completely undone it. Why?!?

Alright, let's hear your prediction for the women's triple threat match at Wrestlemania. Who wins? Is it a clean finish? Who pins who?

Here’s what annoys me about Charlotte beating Asuka. The match was purely random, and it didn’t need to be. All they had to do was say that the winner of Monday’s Beat the Clock Challenge gets to face Asuka the next night.

And have Ronda say that she has no interest in two matches in two nights this close to WM, so she’ll take her sweet time in beating up Sarah Logan. Which then has Charlotte and Becky trying to beat the clock to get the extra title match.

It fits Ronda’s character, explains the title match, and explains why there was the Beat the Clock Challenge other than having momentum entering WM.

Saw this suggestion on the Internets. Ronda’s Horsewomen try to interfere, Boss and Hug come down to even the odds, Becky taps Ronda, Charlotte reluctantly helps out in clearing the others out of the ring and the WWE Horsewomen close the show holding up the belts as the fireworks go off.

We spend a lot of time complaining about the E, but rarely spend time complementing.

One little subtle thing I liked about last night’s show was how Xavier and E were basically on their knees during the Usos’ speech and the Usos kept moving around and standing sideways. They kept looking like they were going to super kick them after their speech, and I wouldn’t have been surprised if they did. Instead, the forfeit happened.

Sometimes, it’s the little things that’s the difference between good and great.

Is there a chance Vince still hates Daniel Bryan, wants him to lose and is angling all this bc he thinks Kofi just cant beat him?

What three men from NXT would you out in Bryan’s new “fresh afternoon” to replace new day? Great line by DB
