One of the things I most like about Sanders is his genuine crusty aloofness.

Some people don't mind it, others do but just a little and others mind it quite a bit. Pols should go on the assumption anyone they meet they don't know might be in that third group and act accordingly.

There is something to be said for politicians who are asexual.

I don't think he's asexual, just really old.

Soundly defeated in a primary? Yes, that could happen.

I don't think it'd happen in the general election unless millions of Democratic voters stayed home in protest - cut off their nose to spite their face, if you will.

Which, hell, they may do. I wouldn't put anything past this group of Democratic voters. It's a childish bunch.

Every time I see that picture, I see one person who has never given an orgasm, and one person who's never received one.

Your take on Democrats reminds me of a discussion I had in the late 1990s with a reporter who was about 15 years older than me. He started rambling on about how the music in my generation sucked. I asked him what music he thought represented my generation. He claimed it was the song "She Drives Me Crazy" by Fine Young Cannibals. Now that had been a significant hit in 1989, but to say that song was the one bit of music to represent a generation was so ridiculously wrong that the memory of the conversation stays with me to this day.

Hey, I was around in the Sixties. There was plenty of shit-ass music around then, too.

No doubt about that. Especially "THE" song of the Sixties, Tip Toe Thru The Tulips (in my best Alma voice).
