I don't think the gay thing would hurt the mayor as much as you'd think. The swing voters in this country have shown that they will respond to a strong message regardless of who has it. They voted for a black dude named Barack Obama and they voted for Donald Trump, and they might have voted for an 80-year-old socialist named Bernie Sanders. If you are a racist, or a homophobe, you aren't voting Democrat, period, no matter who is nominated. The religious right and the Trump rally attendees aren't voting Democrat, period, no matter who is nominated. The voters the Dems need to reach are the ones who switched from Obama to Trump, and the ones who stayed home. I think the last 14 years have shown that they are mostly members of the middle class who feel a tremendous amount of economic insecurity and will vote for the candidate who most sounds like he/she will represent their interests instead of the moneyed/political class.

Eh, just make it like tennis, where you have to win by two.

That way no justice can get labeled the "swing vote" anymore.

I'll put her academic credentials against Carlson's any day of the week.

Wait until President Kamala rams through 12 new radical liberal justices, all under age 30, by voice vote and instant confirmation without hearings on Jan. 22, 2021. Say hello to your new 21-member Supreme Court.

Half a million people a day cross the border to work. Mexico is our #3 trading partner. Yeah, close the border, no big deal.

Add in that a lot of U.S. produce is sold down in Mexico. Farmers have already been hurt by the China tariffs. Shut off sales to Mexico too, great idea Donny.

I still think President Obama should have fought that one harder, even made a legal challenge of the Senate's right to block his nominee that way.

I can't agree with your usual extremism, but I imagine that the next Democrat in the White House will not play nice from day one.

I'm not entirely sure if he could have put Garland on as a recess appointment or not. It's obviously never been an issue. That would have force McConnell to deal with the fallout of taking someone off the SCOTUS who had been serving for a year.

There absolutely needs to be term limits or a mandatory retirement age for both the Legislative and Judicial branches.
